Improve date picker in the UI

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
The date picker in the console is hard to work with. Try selecting/deselecting dates.

Current flow:

One has to:

• deselect everything
• select start date
• then end date
• then apply

Desired flow

I am open to ideas.

Maybe:

• First click selects start date
• Second click end date (set to today if there is no second click)
• Apply
