Okay a lot of stuff can't be installed: PySide6/PyQt6, hdf5 (and anything that depends on it), and numba to name a few big ones. Still might be worth adding this as a separate run assuming it comes back green (esp. if we add it with EDIT: WIll probably need this to deal with pytest-qt: pytest-dev/pytest#12837 (comment) |

Not sure how compatible we are with free threading... let's run it on CIs and see.
