MNE-Python half of mne-qt-browser scalebar fix mne-tools/mne-qt-browser#442. Also includes a speedup for IIR filtering by batching channel filtering (can cut down time from ~20s to ~2s during browser precompute + interactions because it releases the GIL way more often). Changes investigated and drafted with Claude Opus 4.8.
Draft mode here, plan in mne-tools/mne-qt-browser#442 (see green both places, fix branch pinning here, etc.).
