Thank you for your contribution, we appreciate your efforts to improve the MCP Python SDK.
The current import statement from mcp.server import Server is correct and valid based on the repository's structure. As evidenced by the src/mcp/server/__init__.py file, the Server class is properly re-exported at the mcp.server level through the statement: from .lowlevel import NotificationOptions, Server.
