An Actor plays the Role of an Input Target when it is the recipient, destination, or otherwise target of a System Input interaction.

Here, for example:

UI >|| EVMAN : Stop request -> ASLEV<S1-3>

The ASLEV (Accessible Shaft Level) instance is the target of the Stop request event.
