It's been a while since I've written and posted a blog. Precisely three months as I am writing this. I wonder what happens when I am not around. I wonder what happens to your creations, your community, your people.

Maybe they don't go anywhere. Maybe people still read your blogs (gosh I hope!), and maybe people still get inspired or learn something from what you've made. I just want to make someone's life just *a tiny bit* better.

Well, I didn't have a choice really. I had to stop creating. I realised I was escaping from a lot of things, taking shelter in making stuff. But I needed to confront my demons head on. I was going through a lot; emotionally, academically, and life wasn't about to get easy. I had to do something drastic.

I made a video update in late January, in case you're curious on what happened exactly, minus some personal stuff.

As of writing this, my final Grade 12 exams are going on. They'll end by 25th of March. And from that till mid-June, I'll be stuck in exam mode. My primary focus right now, is academics *only*. I realised that I may not have been as gifted as I thought I was two years ago (something that happens to high-achievers when they finally realise that they've been living around mediocrity and well, that doesn't help!). And hence, it is obvious that I have to/am putting in more effort on my learning to be at a better position.

My blog/website hasn't been updated since the last time I posted. I feel like a lot needs changing. The [about](/about) page, the [projects](/projects) page, the design (maybe). My beliefs on a lot of things also have changed, and I want accomodate those beliefs here. For example, my beliefs on school, Indian entrance tests, the need of flexibility (in terms of ideas), anti-dogmatism, technology, note-taking methods, *nix and so on. Oh well, I realise that I just made a to-do list for future essays/blogs. Stay tuned, I suppose.

I've also been considering migrating to [Geminispace](https://geminiprotocol.net), or contributing to it in some way (maybe creating STEM content?) for quite some time. I was extremely pleased when I discovered the [\~tildeverse](https://tildeverse.org/). Definitely some niche stuff, but I am definitely driven by the minimal, decentralised and hackable nature of such systems/protocols.

Oohkay now. I'll end this post right here. I gotta work on my blog-posting workflow (I am new to Emacs! Give me tips if you have any!).

See ya. Soon.
