Integration (45 minutes)

1. Copy C++ files to src/sdl-test-ui/
2. Update CMakeLists.txt (see CMAKE_IPC_INTEGRATION.md)
3. Integrate with pmSDL (4 modifications)
4. Build and test

Create C# Client (15 minutes)

1. Copy CSharpIPCClient_Example.cs
2. Create UI or use CSharpWinformsUI_Example.cs

        ↓
        Yes! Load "cool.milk" preset

What Each Component Does:

IPCHandler:

  • Manages stdin/stdout communication
  • Serializes/deserializes JSON
  • Runs listening thread

PresetQueueManager:

  • Stores presets with timestamps
  • Keeps them sorted
  • Queries current preset

AudioPreviewManager:

  • Tracks playback position
  • Manages play/pause/stop
  • Synchronizes timing

IPCManager:

  • Coordinates everything
  • Routes messages
  • Manages state

ProjectMIPCClient (C#):

  • High-level client API
  • Process management
  • Event system
