With --no-config video plays fine.
With this config it crashes.

I carefully read all instruction and confirm that I did the following:

• I tested and confirmed that the issue exists with the latest release version or newer.
• I provided all required information including system and mpv version.
• I produced the log file with the exact same set of files, parameters, and conditions used in "Reproduction Steps", with the addition of --log-file=output.txt.
• I produced the log file while the behaviors described in "Actual Behavior" were actively observed.
• I attached the full, untruncated log file.
• I attached the backtrace in the case of a crash.

Figure out which option in your config causes it, then create a log file with --no-config and only that option

I found hwdec=d3d11va causing problem.

I found this. Solution is disable hwdec on older intel gpu for hevc in app level. Otherwise I'll have to completely disable hwdec.

Could you run procdump64.exe -ma -w -e mpv.exe and share crash dump that is produced? https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/procdump (use the github clang build)

You can do it with auto profile based on the codec. But the whole copilot explanation is bs. It's only assumption, with zero basis in reality.

Copilot is not wrong. I remember very well in past mpchc developer applied a patch to disable hwdec for old intel gpu in mpchc. Some other user reported hevc related issue, then he disabled that. The reason he explained was, those gpus don't have full hw acceleration, they have partital hw acceleration that too also buggy. So he decided to disable hw acceleration for those specific series gpu for hevc.

So he decided to disable hw acceleration for those specific series gpu for hevc.

Of course it would match it, because it was trained on this code. It probably true though, that those older cpu/igpu didn't have fixed-function decoder and some drivers appear to be broken on them.
