Tracking issue for the v1.2.2 release of pymqrest.

Changes since v1.2.0 (last successful PyPI publish)

Phase 1 — partial failure.

Release branch release/1.2.2 and PR #433 were created successfully, but gh pr merge --auto --merge failed.

Error: GraphQL: Pull request Pull request is in clean status (enablePullRequestAutoMerge)

This means the PR targeting main has no required status checks configured, so GitHub considers it immediately mergeable and refuses to enable auto-merge. This is the same missing branch protection issue flagged in standard-tooling#173.

Release branch release/1.2.2 and PR #433 created. st-prepare-release failed at the auto-merge step because all CI checks passed before auto-merge could be enabled (race condition — PR went to CLEAN status immediately). The required checks ARE configured on main via the CI gates ruleset.

All 13 required checks passed. PR merged manually via gh pr merge --merge --delete-branch.

• CI: all 16 checks passed (unit tests, integration tests, security, release gates)
• PR release: 1.2.2 #433 merged into main via regular merge

Context

This release followed a complex recovery from a partially-failed v1.2.1 publish:

• Integration test failures caused by read-only mqwebuser.xml mount (fixed in fix: set LTPA cookie name declaratively in mqwebuser.xml mq-rest-admin-dev-environment#80, published as dev-environment v1.2.2)
• SBOM ordering regression broke PyPI publish (fixed in fix(ci): move PyPI publish before SBOM generation #430)
• Manual version bump to 1.2.2 to recover from partially-complete v1.2.1 (chore: bump version to 1.2.2 #431)
