It will be beneficial if the user gets to know the role of the principal , so that the further processing can be done. If we can set a flow variable on he event in the filter will help.

he use case i am trying to solve is that the shiro filter acts as a choice , instead of a filter. The same can be achieved by adding a flow variable and let
