Is Ghunt still being maintained/location issues not resolved for some time...?

Hey! I was just wondering if Ghunt is still actively maintained as I saw that the last commits were some months ago...
When using it Ghunt email <address@gmail.com> regardless of the address, even as a fresh install on a different machine... it always crashes out for me on trying to find a location...
I get the following error message:
