The fact that it's similar to cargo for rust and yarn for Node.js is also a quite nice. It's nice to know that effort spent adopting a pixi based workflow would set me up for other languages. |

In VScode it's also possible to specify the R language version using pixi. That way each workspace could use whatever version of R the project was developed in. It looks like this might be coming to Positron as well. |
