Added Ukrainian language support for the app.
Translated fully by myself with no machine translation.
The only thing that left untranslated is part of install_livecontainer_success_message key (more specifically, the instruction to press "Import certificate from SideStore", since LiveContainer doesn't have Ukrainian language support at the time)

Successfully built and tested on macOS Tahoe 26.2 (Apple Silicon)

@bovae and @b1twalker, both of you opened a pr for ukrainian translation (thank you both!!) at roughly the same time (see #522), as I speak no ukranian I have absolutely no idea which is better or which I should accept. I'm not sure if either of you think the other one is better or otherwise have an opinion, so let me know.

Thank you for your answer.

Both mine and @bovae translation is correct, except that I tried to sound more simple and natural for native Ukrainian speakers, especially those who don't understand all of the technical process of sideloading.

For example:

  • "pairing file" in bovae's translation was translated literally ("файл сполучення"), while in my it was translated as "файл зʼєднання" ("connection file"), which sounds more naturally to native Ukrainian speakers that don't understand technical sideloading processes.
  • "Don't use keyring" option and it's description – the keyring is an encrypted vault for thing like passwords. Because of this, I translated it as "Don't encrypt" ("Не шифрувати"), as it's sounds simple and natural, while in bovae's translation it was translated literally.
  • App installation steps: translating "Sign and install..." step is not as simple as non-speakers would think. I'll try explaining it in real-life example: let's imagine your boss is coming to you and saying "Sign these documents'. The bovae's translation is like this example: it sounds like iloader tries to ask you to sign IPA manually. In my translation, instead of translating 'sign' in meaning "do this", I translated as "what's happening": "Підписування і встановлення..." –> "Signing and installing".

So, in conclusion, I think bovae was either translating it via translation app, or without thinking of context. (no intent to accuse, just my assumption)

P.S.: while reviewing both of translations, I've found a flaw in mine. Will fix it right after posting this

Hi @nab138 and thanks @b1twalker for the thoughtful review – you raise fair points and it's clear we both care about getting this right.

A few notes on my translation: I approached it by translating for meaning in context rather than literally, so the wording matches what each string actually does in the UI.

  • App installation steps – good catch on the verb form. These strings are progress labels shown with a spinner while the app works, so a process form reads better than a command. I've updated my PR to use it consistently, so this is now resolved on my side.
  • Pairing file – I used файл сполучення, which is the established Ukrainian term for pairing (as in device pairing). It reads naturally to native speakers and stays precise about what the file is.
  • Don't use keyring – I kept the meaning of the keyring as the system's secure storage (сховище ключів), since the option is about where credentials are stored, not just encryption. I think this stays clear while remaining accurate.

Both translations are solid. My suggestion: pick a single version to merge and credit us both as contributors for the Ukrainian translation. Happy to go with whatever you decide – the goal is just good Ukrainian support for iloader.
