I've done the appdirs thing in #386, can we perhaps merge that and then do the qt backend thing here? |

yes. It is mainly for testing, as I want to switch the testing backend of napari-feedstock. |

Also fix constraints for pyqt6 and change the backend from pyqt5 to pyqt6
