CKAN is an open source data management system that is widely used for open (meta-)data publishing. CKAN being a general-purpose system, out of the box it has no specific support for mobility data, nor does it natively have linked-data capabilities such as DCAT support. This extension adds on top of the existing, community-maintained ckanext-dcat extension to make the CKAN platform mobilityDCAT-AP capable.

Additional Information: Some of the metadata required for mobilityDCAT-AP compliance isn't part of CKAN's default fields. Hence, some custom CKAN fields have been added. As with other custom CKAN extensions, the way these fields are implemented may differ slightly between systems, which might require some changes in the ckanext-dcat plugin to make it fully compatible with your system.
