Import is not working after app install

Steps to reproduce

1. Install the application in Nextcloud 30.0.2
2. Perform the configuration of the application
3. Authenticate the application
4. Select Import Dropbox on the data migration page

Expected behaviour

Nextcloud should start importing the files from Dropbox

Actual behaviour

0 files imported
Dropbox import process will begin soon
An error occured during the import: {error}

Server configuration

Web server: Apache/Nginx

Database: MariaDB version "10.5.26-MariaDB-ubu2004" mysql Version: 10.5.26

PHP version: 8.2.22

Nextcloud version: [Nextcloud Hub 9] (30.0.2)

Thanks for your report, but I am unable to reproduce this in a development environment. Please send over the browser log as well as the nextcloud.log file if there are any errors coming from the app. Also, if you can, please try to duplicate the issue in your own Nextcloud instance or development environment and send us the reproducible steps in that case (including the environment configuration).

Do you have cron jobs enabled in your nextcloud configuration?

A priori, the cron is activated.
But I see in the security warnings: "The PHP memory limit is below the recommended value of 512 MB."

I use a managed Nextcloud server called Storage Share from Hetzner. It's impossible to increase the memory limit there. Does that mean I am unable to use this importer?

I had the same issue. It turned out the "cron" jobs were not running. I had the ajax setting turned on for the background jobs (it's under "Administration" -> "Basic settings" -> "Background jobs") and apparently that was not enough to run the background jobs automatically. I switched to a systemd timer as described in the official docs and then after what felt like 20 minutes with some head scratching, the synchronization started to work.

Please note that the Dropbox Integration will write an error log message when it runs. This is not actually an error and is fully intentional according to the source code:
