typing indicator

It would be great if you add a typing indicator for the bots. Especially local models take a bit to generate a response, so having a typing indicator would be helpful.. Like a confirmation of the message went through.. and knowing that the bot is actually working on a reply instead of just sitting there silently.

That could be an option, although if the model takes a long time to generate the output, like you said, I'm not sure how helpful it would actually be to have the typing indicator be stuck on for a long time. IMO a proper progress bar would be more helpful, but to be fair, it might be difficult to include that in a Talk channel. If you have other ideas or want to implement this yourself, we'd be happy to take a look!
