I can also help you with aligning formatting, etc. for linting (Python & JSON mainly) and setting up golden file and readme tests. Feel free to already have a look though.

A maximum independent set application in pure Python is included, featuring two possible solution strategies.

The app uses a pyomo image, which might be larger than necessary. I wasn't able to deploy it using
ghcr.io/nextmv-io/runtime/python.
