I just built an "other stuff" Nostr client, and it makes heavy use of kind 1111. Almost everything in the app except for the "legacy" feed uses kind 1111.

Kind 1111 is amazing. NIP-10 replies suck. You can't filter them in the same way. I want to filter my feed so it shows replies only. Is that so much to ask?

How bad would it be if I just started using kind 1111 for kind 1 replies?

Amethyst already displays kind 1111 as replies of kind 1.

I believe coracle also shows kind 1111 replies incidentally

I updated Ditto to show kind 1111 comments on kind 1 as well. But not publishing kind 1111 yet.
