No major updates, the plan outline is still the same as originally submitted with minor edits to the "Who will do this work" section. Our original selected developers to fund will likely not be able to work on this full-time, but are available to advise. The money will go towards funding aeon developers part-time or hiring an affiliated RA.

Thanks for sharing the proposal. The idea of a unified archive for time series datasets is very compelling, especially given the fragmentation across existing benchmarks and repositories.

I’ve been following the aeon ecosystem and have some experience working with time-series datasets, metadata normalization, and dataset versioning. If the proposal is approved and there is room for community contributions, I’d be happy to help with implementation, documentation, or dataset curation.
