docs: the compactLayout alias is retired, not accepted (#2536 follow-up)#2542
Merged
Conversation
Two guides still taught 'formerly compactLayout, accepted as an alias' — true during the ADR-0085 deprecation window, false since #2539: create() now rejects the old spelling. AI authors copy docs verbatim, so a doc teaching a retired-but-'accepted' key is a 422 generator. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

framework#2539 retired the
compactLayoutalias; two guides (data-modeling, metadata/object) still said the old spelling is "accepted as an alias" — a 422 generator for AI authors who copy docs verbatim. Reworded to "retired and now rejected". The generated reference's "formerly compactLayout" wording is historical (not a teaching) and untouched, as are ADRs/changelogs.check:doc-authoringclean (171 files).🤖 Generated with Claude Code
