Yes we can rename just to Wayland. same in Ubuntu. does keyboard work? probably not

I've took some time to see this adaptation and what is needed here:

• GLFW should use internal keyboard and mouse instead of XIM / XIC
• GLFW load openGL context via GLEW, it should be built with EGL support so it accepts Wayland (and breaks X11)
• GLAD or other loaders can be used instead, but GLAD is kinda hard to compile (Python configurations etc) glbinding is a more modern alternative but you should compile software with different static libs for each openGL version (not very practical)

So not a very practical option YET to make it work while keeping X11.
Maybe it is a matter of compiling GLEW twice, one for EGL backend and try to detect using ofgen and adding the correct lib for the project.

I'll be addressing this one later
If anybody has a pressing question of using Wayland a commissioned feature could be done with high priority.
And PRs are also welcome on the project if we discuss a good solution that attends both Wayland and X11.

Just pointing here a way of detecting Wayland when installing libs, and download correct glew accordingly
