Plenary.curl dependency

Plenary is deprecated unfortunately. I'm looking for replacements for my plugins. Curl.nvim is a possibility. I'm curious what your plans are?

I know Reddit seem to be quite worried about this. Perhaps I'm missing something but I don't see what the big issue is - it's being deprecated not deleted. Given the last meaningful update was Feb 2025, I'd argue it's been that way for well over a year prior to the recent announcement.

I've said on other discussions that my main priority these days is adding features (or fixing bugs) that enable developers to be more productive and write better code with agents or AI. So this will be super low priority.

I do plan on removing plenary.job, plenary.async and plenary.path at some point - something that's been on my todo list for a while - but wrt to your original question, "I don't have one" would be my honest answer 😆.

I think neovim-treesitter worried folks wrt. archiving and relying on things. I'm working on some stuff there. Bu tI hear you it's not like it'll suddenly stop working. Shame, plenary was super useful.
