a lightweight alternative is to run lychee without docker, e.g. using mise (also supports windows and renovate updates)
This is a setup I use: https://github.com/grafana/docker-otel-lgtm/blob/main/mise.toml#L6-L17

I'm down with this, but I really want us to be more consistent between core, instrumentation, contrib, android (and others?). Let's use this as a start.
