Support self-signed HTTPS certificates for Open WebUI servers

Hi 👋

I'm trying to connect the Desktop app to a remote Open WebUI server running over HTTPS with a self-signed certificate.

Currently, the connection fails POTENTAILLY due to the certificate not being trusted.
I do not know how to start with log ?

Question

Is there a way to:

• Allow self-signed certificates?
• Add a custom CA certificate?
• Or disable certificate verification (for development purposes only)?

Context
Desktop app: 0.0.4
Server: HTTPS with self-signed certificate
OS: WINDOWS

It would be helpful to know if this is already supported or if there’s a recommended workaround.

I was able to start it

$env:NODE_EXTRA_CA_CERTS = "C:\Users\USER\chain_bundle.pem"

PS C:\> $env:NODE_EXTRA_CA_CERTS
C:\Users\USER\chain_bundle.pem

PS C:\> Start-Process -FilePath "C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\Programs\open-webui\open-webui.exe"
