My preliminary test. due to the following error it is hard to do a full test.

The biggest Problem is:

• website is super slow right now, when using a Computer or Ipad
  --> Sometimes sites don’t even load or only without formatting
  --> If they load, they take up to 5 minutes minimum
  --> Website is fast on Android Smartphone
  --> With this problem testing is really slow

Issues I ran over until now:

• LED does not show the correct status
  --> White Led and rainbow led are working correct
  --> While site is loading the led goes sometimes from red to green (not the rainbow)
  --> Led does not show correct status while measuring
  --> I don't know if justage led works, because site is to slow --> justage do not realy load

• Measurement stops more often
  --> It stops for a minute max
  --> when it stops it measures values twice or not at all
  --> "Connection reset by peer" - Error comes more often when measurement stops
  --> same thing on android smartphone

• "Connection reset by peer" - Error is still there
  --> but way less frequently than before
  --> occurs mostly at startup and when measurement stops

• Things that work:
  --> "Messung stoppen" - button works
  --> Image of NV-Centers load
  --> "Laserdiode einschalten" - Button is gone

I have moved things to a socket connection. Measurements are taken indepedent from network connection. Frontend only receives and renders values:

• "Connection reset by peer" - Error is still there
  --> but way less frequently than before
  --> occurs mostly at startup and when measurement stops

Should be gone now

  --> Image of NV-Centers load
  --> "Laserdiode einschalten" - Button is gone

Tried and it works now like a charm! Its super fast. I think even faster than before.

I have moved things to a socket connection. Measurements are taken indepedent from network connection. Frontend only receives and renders values:

With your PR it works very fast and without any missed values.
--> I must retract my statement. Unfortunately the measurement break off quite often. sometimes the Serial output says that some or all points were measured, but in the webview are no points visible. --> Error: "Sweep: client disconnected, stopping" & "[6331799][E][WifiClient.cpp:429] write(): fail on fd 50, errno: 128, "Socket is not connected"
--> when this happens I sometimes can't get any connection to the website. If I reload the website is not reachable, but I am still connected to the wifi
--> Happens mostly in the first Quarter (around 2840/2842 Hz)
--> happens on Linux Computer with google chrome and Ipad with safari
--> does not occur on Ipad with chrome

• "Connection reset by peer" - Error is still there
  --> but way less frequently than before
  --> occurs mostly at startup and when measurement stops

Should be gone now

Even with you PR 80 or the fix for the slow website the error occurs, but way less. It mostly occurs when interacting with the website (start a measurement, click on the menu,..)
--> when using an Ipad this error is way less than on a computer, but quite random. Maybe it is time dependent ( it occurs maybe every minute). I am unsure.

• Things that work:
  --> "Messung stoppen" - button works

--> "Messung stoppen" Button is not working in PR 80. When I click on it nothing happens.

--> Image of NV-Centers load
--> "Laserdiode einschalten" - Button is gone

Some cosmetic stuff:

• At the start website the bulletpoints from "Benötigte Komponenten" were twice. I removed the double points in branch fix-listoferrors
• The explanation at "Wie funktioniert es?" could use one or two more sentences. It does not explain a lot.
• When using dark mode on computer the menu points "Deutsch" and "English" in the language drop down menu are white on white.

• Adding logos ?
• @jkbeetle I would like to have a 5-10 step tutorial on how to align the system. In best case in svg format to save bandwidth, any chance you can render this in blender? I can give you the latest IGES - ideally in "ikea" black-and-white wireframe optic :)

more issues from yesterday:

• testing in the web serial doesn't work anymore. its inkonvenient, because if you wan't to open an other tap an google something you always have to change between the to wifis..

• when opening the Test(webserial) site, the proportions are all over the place. I guess it works fine on a lagre screen, but on a laptop screen, it's completly disproportional :)

• detecting a broken socket connection and recovering the missed measurement data / read from buffer instead once done (e.g. from a buffer that we access via a rest call and download the array of values)

• ensure "Messung Stoppen" works as expected (e.g. stop the ongoing measurement on the esp32s3/c3)

• ensure most things are bi-lingual (currently not really..) => ensure we have two pages for each language de/en in a memory saving way

• Adding placeholder logos in the acknolededgemnt section

• @jkbeetle I would like to have a 5-10 step tutorial on how to align the system. In best case in svg format to save bandwidth, any chance you can render this in blender? I can give you the latest IGES - ideally in "ikea" black-and-white wireframe optic :) => For now we want to add a 10-step clickable "tutorial" where we have some accopanying text that explains the current e.g. alignment step of the ODMR for the image (in best case we have left/right buttons to jump through the images, if this is too much memory consumption, we have one page with 10 place holder svgs to explain alignment)

• For the justage, it would be great to display the values in the same plot behavior as in the b-field measurement. So each value over time in a graph.

• we need to review the webserial implementation. Seems like the way the website switches between rest/socket interface vs. webinterface doesn't work anymore, yet it's very convenient => we upload the html website to https://youseetoo.github.io/odmr/ and want to have the webserial interface instead of getting the rest/socket interface. We want to also provide the "justage" (e.g. live view of intensity values in the page)

It worked on my setup (without photodiode or microwave). Didn't even know that the css automatically changes to dark :D

@CsAngel-github should we try exporting the steps from inventor and map them to svgs here? I think this would be really helpful to have them on the device.

@CanonDieCamera would you mind to fill in the information about "why ODMR is cool, etc."? I think most of the things are bilingual now. Also, can you add the right logos/partners for the logo section?

I could not yet test the socket vs rest loading of the measurement data as it always works on my end. So please test this and take screencasts in best case with the developer tools / console open.

Webserial is not of priority for me now. But should work once I upload it to youseetoo.github.io/odmr again.

@beniroquai regargind the svg files, sure lets do that. I can provide you an svg file from every Module needed.
But why first step files? woudn't it be easier to export the modules as pdf and then convert it into svg?
are there informations in the step files you need?

weiter auf deutsch: wenn ich die website in chrome öffne ist es noch eine alte version, daher kann ich den Alligment guide nicht sehen und weiß nicht welche Module du extakt brauchst und ob du auch etwaige kaufteile wie kabel als svg benötigst.. ich mach dir mal alle svg dateien der module fertig, wenn dann was fehlt bitte bescheid sagen :)

can you export them in some kind of constistent isometric view ? Maybe start with the plate and laser cube first, so I can run a test how to build an animation.

what do you need IGS, STP? The files have to fit into the memory, so really low quality, more then 3 lines is already to much kinda thing xD

Please send me of the current uc2 cube:

• an STL (I'll try Blender to render a clean drawing) and convert it to vectors
• and an SVG or PDF of a isometric (slightly angled 45°) Technical Drawing rendered in the CAD software you prefer. (in FreeCAD it would be the Output of the TechDraw Workbench)
