I would treat Image Gen 2 as separate from Codex. This repository is mainly for Codex/Codex CLI and coding-agent workflows. A question is a good fit here if it is about Codex generating, editing, reviewing, or running code. A question about image generation model behavior, image quality, or the image API itself is probably better routed elsewhere. For the example you linked:
The overlap is only indirect: Codex can help write code that calls image-generation APIs, but Image Gen itself is not part of Codex. |

Just found this example image from an OpenAI cookbook

While the image does not yet provide the level of quality or detail required for real-world cellular biology, it represents a step in the right direction. I also noticed the “Cellular Respiration at a Glance” image later in the list.
Are questions related to Image Gen 2 appropriate for this Codex repository? If not, is there a more suitable venue where OpenAI staff are likely to engage on such topics?
