run

and it will error out AttributeError: module 'uvloop' has no attribute 'EventLoopPolicy'

Thank you for reporting this. The root cause is that uvicorn defaults to loop="auto", which attempts to use uvloop when installed. Since uvloop is Unix-only, it fails on Windows with AttributeError: module 'uvloop' has no attribute 'EventLoopPolicy'.

The fix detects Windows (sys.platform == "win32") and explicitly passes loop="asyncio" to uvicorn.run(), falling back to the standard asyncio event loop. On non-Windows platforms, the default "auto" behavior is preserved.

PR #328 is ready. We'll verify on an actual Windows machine before merging to confirm the fix resolves the issue end-to-end.
