@Xtansia when you have a moment, not urgent, the API spec changes are breaking codegen all the time now, doing my best to fix those, unlikely anything will be ported to 3.x anymore, thank you

Just letting you know @reta, I haven't forgotten about this, I want to spend some time and see if I can find a middle ground between the previous and current state of the spec that's still accurate but gives better output for code-gen. Or necessary work arounds in code gen
