Issues with Mosquitto 7.0.0 ACL

Describe the bug
MQTT config sets the client_id to the main topic (Garage/Inside/Light/Back in my case) instead of using short name defined in "Configure Name". I don't think it is device related as all of my OpenBeken devices are faulted since the latest Mosquitto update preventing "/" in device_id

Firmware:

• Version : was 1.18.33, updated to 1.18.287 but still the same issue
• Chip/model: BK7231N

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Update Mosquitto to 7.0.0 and it no longer connects, see error:
ACL denying access to client with dangerous client id "Garage/Inside/Light/Back"

Adding "MqttClient GarageBackLight" to the startup command line seems to fix the issue, but I don't understand why this is not a field in the Configure MQTT menu.

Didn't fix the issue, it changed my Client Topic (Base Topic), so it's a no go 👎

To fix it, you would have remove '/' in "Client Topic".

That's unacceptable, my automations and everything in HA uses wildcards, my topics mean something wider than the device itself, it's organized.

There's an intrinsic difference between topic and clientid, they should definitely not be the same value. ClientID or deviceID should have it's own entry in the MQTT configuration.

Your link specifically says to fix clientid, not changing topic...

Thank you, 7.0.1 fixed the issue, but I'll look forward to #2089 as this is the real solution to the issue.
