Cannot further update BK7231N

Describe the bug
Hey I'm having difficulties with updating one of my smart plugs. I have this plug for over a year and had no problem with OTA updating every few weeks. Last version I've managed to install is 1.18.288.
Everything works correctly but I cannot OTA update. Whether I try to downgrade, reflash the same or newer firmware it says it's starting OTA, plug resets and it stays at the same version.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Open web application
2. go to OTA
3. Drop any OTA file for BK7231N
4. See "starting OTA..."
5. Nothing happens, see that uptime resets, version is still 1.18.288

What if you stop all drivers first then try ota?
