After analyzing the contributor listings in both
README.mdandCONTRIBUTING.mdfiles, I found that all existing listings are already properly sorted alphabetically by first name as requested in the issue.Analysis Results:
README.md contains the following contributor listings:
Maintainers (4 people) - ✅ Already sorted by first name:
Approvers (1 person) - ✅ No sorting needed:
Triagers - ✅ References component owners file (no direct listing)
Emeritus maintainers (3 people) - ✅ Already sorted by first name, no company affiliations to remove:
CONTRIBUTING.md contains no contributor listings requiring sorting.
Verification:
I verified the alphabetical ordering by extracting first names and confirming they are already in correct alphabetical order:
The emeritus member listings contain no company affiliations that need to be removed.
Conclusion:
No code changes were necessary as the contributor listings already meet all the requirements specified in the issue. This follows the principle of making minimal changes - in this case, zero changes were required.
Fixes #104.
