App crashes when "Position" (German) Button is tapped

I'm using version v5.2.3 (2025082102) of OVMS but I encounter the issue ever since (July 2025).
The OS of my phone is Iode OS v7.5 (no GApps, just microg)

While all I use on the app is working fine the "Position" button from the main menu doesn't. Or at least when used with my real car. I firstly assumed i has something to do with my OS not providing GApps but just microg-Services but I found out recently this functions works with the Demo car activated.
Interestingly the "Position" button shows the current street name where my car is at the time using the OVMS app. So I assume GPS data could be read correctly.

I would assume it should work independently from car setting, just GPS data...

Any suggestions on how to fix that?
Please let me know if you need further information from my side to address the problem.

The issue has been reported before and is outside our scope, it's due to a bug in the microg handling of images.
I've filed a bug report for microg here: microg/GmsCore#3238 (comment)
According to the issue history, a fix is about to be released soon.

As a workaround, select a Tesla Roadster vehicle image for your car.

I'll keep this issue open for reference until the microg fix is available. Please follow the release and report when the issue is fixed.

Good to see the microg is working on the issue.

The workaround works for me, map opens when Tesla Roadster image is selected in car properties.
