Add features for Stellantis EMP2 platform (FIAT eDoblo)

As seen in #976 the vehicle support of FIAT e-Doblo (same as Peugeot Rifter, Opel Combo, Citroen Berlingo) is usable but still incomplete and we should add the following:

• battery power / current
• prconditioning
• range estimation (in OVMS as the one from the car is horrible)
• commands like lock/unlock the car

these also would be cool, but clearly of lower prioprity:

• commands to start / stop charging, allow setting a charge limit
• read GPS coordinates from car (if possible)
• set the navigation target from OVMS

Any support form other users is warmly welcome!

I came here because soon I will receive a Toyota Proace Electric. I am especially interested in the preconditioning feature.
Is there anything I can do to support the implementation?

mh, hard to say. The challenge with preconditioning is to find the necessary CAN signals to activate it. - I fear it will be impossible without somebody recording a CAN trace while preconditioning with the builtin remote app system. And even then it is a hard job to identify the values and signals to do it. I myself have no OEM mobile comm module.

Unfortunately the same here, no OEM comm. Should not be an issue when using the feature, but I cant sniff the commands.
Do you by any chance know if the standard OVMS module comes with the pins 3/8 mapped?

I use the standard ODB2 cable. What do you think of with pins 3 and 8? Which connector?

I have to say, I do not have the car and the OVMS yet. So I am just looking into the topic using the documentation I can find. Might also be wrong.

As far as i understand it, a standard OBD sniffer reads pins 6&14, where the regulatory stuff runs (diagnosis etc.).
From my understanding, Stellantis uses Comfort-CAN / IS-CAN for wake-up and pre-conditioning. So we need to read the CAN high (Pin 3) and CAN low (Pin 8) in order to understand wake-up, diagnostics session via UDS (service 0x10), maybe seed & key exchange (service 0x27) and then routine control (service 0x31) for starting climate control.

Your cable is not suitable for remote climate control or wake-up sequences without modification
PSA K9 IS-CAN location: OBD Pin 3 (High) and Pin 8 (Low)
Your generic Cable wiring: Maps OVMS CAN2 to OBD Pin 13 and Pin 12 (Standard for Renault/Tesla)
The OVMS module has no physical connection to the required bus. To support climate control, the cable must be modified (or an adapter used) to map the OVMS CAN2 lines to OBD pins 3 and 8.

Sounds absolutely reasonable. So far I didn't dig into the architecture of the car and its different busses. (Even though I was laying with the cable, as that one doesn't fit behind the cover and I made up something where I also connected the second CAN without going into any try with it.)
