rpc-sys packagelist missing installed packages

I am running Netgear R7800 (ipq806x-generic-netgear_r7800). In 24.10.x (all versions as far as I can tell), rpc-sys fails to detect that "wpad-mesh-mbedtls" is installed (see OWUT comment). This appears to be a caused by a buffer overrun in "sys.c".

Increasing the read buffer size in "sys.c" (see attached) would be a quick fix, but perhaps the parsing of the opkg status file needs to be re-worked.

The biggest problem here is that there is no 23.05/24.10/"opkg-version" branch on this repo, so we can't (easily) do PRs against it. There's also this pending bug fix that would be good to get into the opkg-based versions. #8

Could you do wc -L on your apk database and report the results? We've got a 24.10 branch a few minutes ago and I want to submit a PR for this issue. My database is showing a max line of 514, so I think I'll jack that buffer up to 1k just to be sure.

If you're running an opkg version, please use the status file:

$ wc -L /usr/lib/opkg/status
191 /usr/lib/opkg/status
