getting started example

hey this is a really neat repo!! thanks for making it!! I was trying to checkout the "getting started example" that's listed in the readme but the link doesn't seem to be working and a folder doesn't seem to exist for it. I was wondering what happened to it?

Hi, sorry for the very late answer, I haven't received notifications for this issue for some reason.

In any case, the data in this repo has been generated based on scraping a webpage whenever the scripts were run, so it may be that some link has been outdated or invalid when the last scraping was completed.

Note however that

• any missing folders should probably exist in the git history of this repository, if they ever were there, so checking the diffs and checking out an older commit (or the folder) locally should restore content if there is any available
• Google has gotten quite a bit better with making their own official extension examples discoverable, by posting their own github repository here: https://github.com/GoogleChrome/chrome-extensions-samples
• with regards to getting started examples, you can probably find the relevant files (with downloadable zip files at least for the mv3 version I just checked) here:
