Why run an outdated OS?

I suggest grabbing the latest releases from somthing like: https://massgrave.dev/windows_11_links

And then applying the v0.5.0 playbook onto it.

For me, as long as browsers, games, and programs don't really need Windows 11, I won't update. I was even grateful when Windows 10 stopped updating because I was always thinking of a way to permanently disable Windows Update.
What I really want is to know the approximate date of a Windows 10 build that is best suited for Atlas v0.4.0 or Atlas v0.4.1, and also because my PC doesn't have native TPM support. It's an X99 Xeon platform.

Ah, that's a very old platform... I get it. However, staying on Windows 10 is not something I would do. Especially not because of the huge amount of CVE's.

What prevents you from running something like CachyOS or Bazzite? :)

@NenelFX I've tested 19045.7184 on a VM. Clean installed. Installed pending Windows updates (like .NET framework etc). Installed MS Store app updates. Applied 0.4.1. Working as of now. AME did not show any errors.

@Stensel8 My reason: I have a laptop with 32 GB fixed internal storage and 2 GB of RAM (both non-upgradable). Before trying out some distros, I wanted to give Windows the best shot. Going to try Atlas OS, GhostSpectre and Tiny10 to see which ones have the best compatibility (with a few selection of apps) and the least footprint. Thinking of even trying out Windows 7 😃 . Windows 11 would probably be off the table as it would run too slow even with Atlas and may have driver issues. If it can run a select few apps well, I'd stick with Windows.
