Domain Reseller Capability Matrix (Public, Vendor-Neutral)

Purpose

Datum is evaluating domain reseller platforms (registrar/reseller partners) to power domain registration and management while providing a consistent Datum API + UI. This matrix is a matter-of-fact catalog of vendors and capabilities.

Non-goal: "ranking" vendors or shaming any provider. Many capabilities are TLD-dependent and plan-dependent, and may change over time.

How to read this matrix

• Supported: Available via public docs or confirmed by vendor.
• Partial: Supported with constraints (plan/TLD/manual steps/region).
• Unknown: Not yet verified publicly.

Recommended practice: every non-Unknown cell should have a short Evidence note (docs link, support confirmation date, or public product page).

Is there a reason Gandi didn't make it to the list? I know AWS R53 use them in the background for domain registration,
They have a decent API and CLI (since years)
