I believe that improving the tools that the community can engage with is important and consistent with Mint's philosophy. |

Hi! I’d like to share some feedback about the Linux Mint Community website.
Overall, I really like the platform and I appreciate the effort behind it, especially for sharing software reviews and helping users discover new applications.
Issues
Suggestions / Improvements
Allow multiple images per software entry (at least two, or ideally a small gallery) to better showcase applications.
Improve the text editor:
Resizable text box
Basic Markdown support (bold, lists, links)
Preview before publishing
Add a “helpful” voting system for reviews (e.g. “Was this review helpful?”) to highlight the most useful contributions.
Implement tags or categories for software (e.g. Lightweight, Gaming, Open Source, Beginner Friendly) to improve discovery.
Improve search and filtering options:
Filter by category or type of software
Sort by rating, popularity, or recency
Enhance user profiles:
Show review history
Add a simple reputation or contribution system
Optional badges for active contributors
Consider a more detailed rating system for reviews (e.g. performance, stability, ease of use), not just a general score.
I believe these improvements would make the platform much more user-friendly and help grow an even stronger community around it.
Thanks for your work and for maintaining such a helpful resource!
