The drought of OpenEdge related actions in the marketplace has officially come to an end!
Actions Marketplace: openedge-actions
Source Repo: kenherring/openedge-actions
Samples Repo: kenherring/openedge-actions-samples
This first release offers 3 actions:
setup- setup openedge on the runner, so you can call_progresfrom the shell or call your existing PCT tasksrun- execute openedge codeablunit- execute ablunit testsSee examples in the source repo, and more advanced scenarios in the samples repo.
My hope is that this can reduce barriers to entry for those that want to use GitHub Actions and OpenEdge together. Creating these actions has been in the back of my mind for awhile and I'm happy to be sharing them with the community today.
If you get a chance to try these actions comment and share how it goes. Are there other actions/functionality you would find helpful? Do you have existing pipelines that could benefit from these or other actions?
