init failed

I followed this guide #77 and successfully compiled and installed on CentOS 7.6.

But I got an error saying "init failed" when I try to run it. I don't know what the issue was since there was no debug output.
# pcloudcc -u example@example.com -p

EDIT: Running it under sudo does seem to work.

I encountered the same problem after upgrading from jessie to Debian GNU/Linux 9.6 (stretch).

Worked for me once I disabled multi-factor auth on my pcloud account.

I just experienced the "init failed issue" also. My pcloudcc has been working great up until this morning. After doing a restart, it longer worked.
This is my linux/pcloudcc info:

The "Init failed" issue when trying to run pcloud was solved erasing the .pcloud folder in my Home directory.
"Init failed." message indicates that other client is working at the moment.
It worked for me, see the below link that solved my problem.

Good to know of the existence of this folder. I found that stopping the desktop client was sufficient to get the console-client running.

Deleted .pcloud. Still no love.
Is it possible that my previous install is conflicting with something in Fuze?
