Could we completely disable view interaction (and remove the space-key shortcut), then add a pair of zoom-in/zoom-out buttons? On my laptop, a little two-finger movement on the trackpad tends to trigger a big response, making the image sizes difficult to control. When processing larger data files, the delayed responses also add confusion.

I would appreciate having a pair of zoom-in/zoom-out buttons either in the toolbar or in each view. No preference yet.
