What is an Impact Analysis Report?

I need to prepare an automated Impact Analysis Report that can be generated from the Workbench

• The workbench already produces a Diff report comparing two Snapshots and lists all changes between the two, i.e., Updates to entities
• The Workbench supports the creation/population of the Amendments class
• I would like to produce a PDF report that includes this information but also information that would be represented in a traditional Impact Analysis Report, if there is such a thing.

What information can I export that would add value?
Is there a traditional Impact Analysis Report format?
