@glensc We are not going to update pecl anymore since it has been deprecated. You can use PIE for that just as easy:

wget https://github.com/php/pie/releases/download/1.4.2/pie.phar
chmod a+x pie.phar
pie install phalcon/cphalcon

@niden can you put this info to readme as well? currently it's still there:

and maybe make final release in pecl with such appropriate message? i.e in changelog entry "this is last pecl release"

@glensc Apologies for the inconvenience. I guess it doesn't hurt to keep that up until it is really deprecated/removed.

I think I have a warning in the docs but will check also the readme - that one I usually miss

We missed a release (5.12) but not that much harm done since it did have a memory leak which has been fixed.
