Airplay Volume always set to 0 upon connecting and no support for lossless spotify audio

Hey, so far this is the best implementation i've seen, it just works wonders, and is really fast adjusting volume, changing tracks, pausing, etc...
But the only issue i'm encountering is that when i connect to the speaker, i always have to set the volume manually, because it always sets it to 0, at least on my android phone, Galaxy S25U
Is there any fix for this?

Also, would there be a way to implement the ability to play lossless audio, because right now on spotify settings it says the speaker only supports the very high quality, and doesnt even let me select any of the qualities

I will check for the volume as it is supposed to be memorized. For lossless, I have no plan to implement that.
