Module doesn't install

Hi Brandon,

Just saw your tweet about this so I couldn't wait to try it out! :)

When installing the Accessory, I noticed that the Module didn't install even though I selected it, though the Accessory did. I went to the Modules page and trying to install the module via there, but that didn't work either. I'm using EE 2.1.0 20100810.

Although I just appeared to have uploaded a batch of files okay, and they had green checkboxes next to them and were on 100%, they didn't appear in my Matrix field. I Submitted the entry and went back into it, but they still weren't there. The images hadn't appeared on my server either, when viewing the File Manager. I can upload images okay using the Matrix field on its own though.

If you have any ideas or need me to try anything, please let me know.

Just fixed the module install issue.

When you uploaded the files, did you get an error message at the top of the window? Did the files upload to your directory correctly?

Thanks - the module now installs fine too (noticed the version number remained at 0.9 instead of 0.9.1, but that's nothing).

The files still don't upload though, and I don't get any errors in the CP or at the top of the CP. It looks like they're uploading fine as each image goes from 0 to 100% and then shows the green checkbox next to them. But at the end, nothing changes in the Matrix field and no newly uploaded files are in the File Manager. I've tried this with between 1 and 17 files and still no joy.

Please FTP into your actual upload directory, and check to see if the files were uploaded or not.

That green checkbox and "100%" are misleading; they only mean that the file has finished being sent to the server, not that they were saved successfully.

Just checked this and they're definitely not in my file upload location either I'm afraid.

Is there anything special that I would need on my server for this to work? I can manually upload files to a Matrix field fine though.

I was looking for some server requirements on the Plupload website but couldn't find any. I did try one of their example upload forms though and noticed this message after I'd successfully uploaded an image:

"Uploading is a bit different than you might be used to, files are uploaded to the temp folder, then when the form is submitted you get all the info you need to move around the files to the correct location."

There's no 'Send' button on your Accessory, like there is on their website, though I guess you've coded this to not need that. Assuming your Accessory dumps files in a temp folder like they say on their site, what's the location of this temp folder? (just trying to think of things I can check)

Brandon, I've looked at the upload folder, and all that is there is a 0 byte file with the same name. Also, the checkmark and 100% in the fields are filling up instantly, even if I try to upload a 2mb file, so I don't think anything is successfully being sent to the server.

Just wondering, am I encountering a bug, or is it sounding like a server issue or clash with another addon?

Just wondering if there's anything else I can try if it's an issue with my setup.

I'm testing it on a dev installation, but the second I can get it working, you've got yourself $55 as Matrix will then be a must-have for a photography site I'm working on.
