ninja only accepts the short `-j N` form; `--jobs` is unrecognized, so ninja printed its usage and exited non-zero before building anything. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
With int10=stub, on x86-64 meson compiles xf86int10.c (defines xf86InitInt10) together with stub.c (redefines it), and lld errors on the duplicate symbol while building libint10.so. Switch to the portable x86emu backend — it links cleanly and is the config distros ship for cross-arch VBIOS, and it also covers the aarch64 target.
