What is the OS language set as and what is the Locale setting set as in Plan? (Is there a custom locale.yml file?)

English UK then English US. I haven't changed anything in locale.yml before 5.6 build 2965 or after updating.

It seems to be using chinese locale for dates - does it go away if you switch the locale from top right and refresh?

UI showing correctly when setting it to English. It does default to the Custom option still, is that using the locale.yml?

I managed to reproduce it by generating a locale.yml - My best guess is that CUSTOM is "Best guessed" to be CN by the browser and it then uses that. I'll change it to default to EN when using custom locale

Temporary fix is to delete locale.yml so that it will default to EN
