Summary
This repo uses an MIT badge in the README but has no LICENSE file, which makes the license legally ambiguous for downstream users and organizations.
This PR adds a standard MIT LICENSE file consistent with the badge already declared in the README.
Why this matters
Without a LICENSE file, GitHub's terms treat the code as all-rights-reserved by default — even when the README clearly intends MIT. Many enterprise users and open-source tools (including package registries and dependency scanners) require a LICENSE file to confirm usage rights.
