Still not sure why that would matter

SEO specialist manually in the process of debugging or analyzing, it is more convenient to have a format that is easy to read and understand.

maybe add qs param like sitemap.xml?raw or sitemap.xml?pretty for printing source petrified

Allright. I can see the use in that.

It'll most likely become a boolean setting, to keep the sitemap URL clean of excessieve parameters.
